I walk right through
Not knowing a thing
I face it like a boy trying to hide his fears.

All I see is black
A darkness that fills the emptiness I feel
A soulless butterfly

Flapping its wings yet not going anywhere
Hiding the torment inside
The chaos that dwells within

I walk still looking for a way out
Yet I fail at the sight of nothing
There is nothing

An unending turmoil boiling
Bubbling to the surface
The popping sound is annoying like a leaking faucet

There it goes
Its deafening, I hear it again
I keep hearing it inside my head

My Head
Yes, in my head
It’s only in my head

I look back
And still I see nothing
I’m lost in the darkness that surrounds me

Can’t find my way through
Or at least back
Even if I did, going back is not an option.

Nothing to do but to go on
Keep walking until I see
I see nothing

I hear echoes of nothing
It’s so deafening
I can’t get out
